EHA & ARC Present Ben Young Senior Housing at Port Gardner Neighborhood Association Meeting

On June 10th, ARC Architects and EHA staff presented on the Ben Young Senior Housing (BYSH) development to the Port Gardner Neighborhood Association. The meeting was held at the Obsidian Beer Hall located at 1420 Hewitt Avenue, Everett, WA 98201.  The meeting was attended by about 30 people. After a short presentation on the project, there was a 15-to-20-minute question-and-answer session to address the concerns of the community. BYSH will be a 6-story, 140-unit affordable senior housing apartment serving senior households at 60% AMI and below. The new construction project will be located at 3826 Rucker Avenue in Everett. The building will have 16 studios, 112 one-bedrooms, and 12 two-bedroom units, and have on-site amenities including in-unit air conditioning, in-unit washer and dryer, secure building access, secure and covered indoor bicycle parking, fitness room, exercise room, library, gardening opportunities, community center, and a 6th-floor roof deck!
