Registration to be placed on the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) and property waiting lists are only opened periodically. 

To apply for an open waiting list, you must register with RENTCafé and then follow the directions to complete the online pre-application process. You will receive an email once you have registered with your user name.

You must have a valid email address to apply for housing with EHA.

What Do I Do After I Submit My Application?

Once you submit your pre-application, it is your responsibility to ensure that you keep your information current.  When your online pre-application comes to the top of the waiting list, you will be notified either by email or postal mail.  If we are unable to contact you because of invalid contact information, your name will be removed from the waiting list.

Changing your address with the United States Postal Service does not change your address with EHA.  You must update your address with EHA separately.
