Waiting Lists Opening on January 28, 2019

The Everett Housing Authority will open four Project Based Voucher waiting lists on January 28, 2019 at 9:00 AM. Applications may only be submitted through our online application system and will be ordered by date and time. Applications can be completed using any web browser (also mobile device compatible) and applicants must have an e-mail address.  Applicants who require a reasonable accommodation should contact EHA at (425) 258-9222.  For information on the waiting list please visit our check availability page.

Main Office Hours Changing on May 1, 2017

Colby office hours are changing! Beginning May 1, 2017 our main office, located at 3107 Colby Avenue in downtown Everett, will be open to the general public Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 12:00pm, closed for a one hour lunch break, and will reopen from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The office will be closed to the general public on Fridays. We will now offer appointments to our clients from 7:00am until 5:00pm Monday through Thursday and throughout the day on Fridays dependent on staff availability. We hope this change provides our clients greater flexibility in meeting with our staff and the opportunity for our staff to work flexible schedules!
Senator Maria Cantwell Visits Meadows Apartments

This week Senator Maria Cantwell and her staff visited Everett Housing Authority's Meadows Apartments. The Everett Housing Authority was privileged to engage in a round table discussion with partner organizations and Senator Cantwell regarding the importance of affordable housing and the tax credit program. Senator Cantwell was also able to speak with a couple of residents about their positive experiences during the tax credit syndication and renovation process recently completed at the Meadows. These residents shared how wonderful EHA staff were during the construction and relocation process and repeatedly praised the EHA Relocation Team. HUD Disclosure of Personally-Identifiable Information of Public Housing Residents
November 2016
Recently the Everett Housing Authority received notification from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development that, due to HUD error, some resident personal information was made publicly available on the (HUD) website, www.hud.gov. The information included the individual's last name, the public housing building code, and last four of their Social Security Number for approximately 428,828 public housing residents. These residents will be notified by HUD and offered free credit monitoring services for one year. HUD deeply regrets this error. Greetings to Everett and surrounding communities: I am excited to share that I have been appointed by the EHA Board of Commissioners as the Interim Executive Director of Everett Housing Authority. I, along with EHA and many in the community, will sincerely miss our most recent Executive Director, Ashley Lommers-Johnson, and wish him the very best in his new role with another housing authority. I joined EHA six years ago, most recently serving as the Deputy Executive Director overseeing the work of the Housing Management, Resident Services, HCV, and Asset Management teams, after a career of over 20 years with the Seattle Housing Authority. EHA is pleased to offer the convenience and security of EFT to our valued landlords.  No more waiting for the mail and making trips to the bank.  When you sign up for EFT you will receive your housing assistance payments deposited directly into your bank account on the third business day of each month.
